Manning's use of 'Omaha' benefits DHS Athletics

Local businessman Chad Davis came up with an idea to have supporters of DHS Athletics donate $5 every time Denver Bronco quarterback Peyton Manning said the word "Omaha' during the Super Bowl. Though Manning only said the word twice during the game, donors were committed to a minimum of a $100 donation. The idea helped to raise $2,300 for DHS Athletics. On Monday, Davis treated those sponsors to lunch at Lupo's, where the donations were given to Blaine Mahaffey from DHS.
