Ross United Methodist Church will host a teen summit on Saturday, June 21, covering some issues affecting today's youth.
There will be sessions covering bullying, suicide, and professional development. The keynote speaker for the event will be the Rev. Sylvester Hicks, who is a former professional football player for the Kansas City Chiefs. Officials say the summit is geared for all teenagers ages 13 -- 18 years old.
Registration for the free event starts at 8 a.m. at the church and a continental breakfast will be provided. The summit begins at 9 a.m. and runs until 12:30 p.m. Free box lunches will be available to participants at lunch.
