Urgent Team promotes Emily Gatlin Venable to vice president of human resources
Urgent Team, one of the largest independent operators of urgent care centers in the Southeast, recently announced the promotion of Emily Gatlin Venable to vice president of human resources.
"Emily has exhibited a tireless commitment to building a professional approach to our human-resource processes and policies in order to better serve our team members," said Tom Dent, CEO of Urgent Team. "As an essential part of the Urgent Team Leadership, Emily advocates for all of our team members best interest and we are thrilled to announce her advancement."
Venable has more than 10 years of experience in healthcare services companies managing all aspects of a human-resources department, including training, employee relations, recruiting, health and safety, compensation and benefits. She graduated from the University of Tennessee in Knoxville with a bachelor's in human ecology and a major in human resources.
Originally from the Dyersburg area, Venable attended Dyersburg High School and remains active in the community through the Dyersburg Urgent Team Center.
