Coming off road wins over then-No. 7 ranked Crockett County on Jan. 24 and Obion County Central on Jan. 27, the Dyersburg Trojans maintained their No. 3 ranking in the latest Class AA Associated Press poll released on Monday afternoon.

The Trojans' overall point total increased from last week as the Dyersburg boys earned 120 points in the poll, an 11-point increase from last week. This is the second week the Trojans picked up a first-place vote in the polls.

Knoxville Catholic remained atop the Class AA poll, earning a dozen first-place votes to get 146 points overall. The team just in front of the Trojans, Whites Creek, also received a first-place vote, but saw the gap between the Trojans and themselves shrink to just six points as the Cobras came in with 126 points.

After losses to Dyersburg and Westview last week, 13AA's Crockett County dropped out of the top ten, barely missing out with 12 points overall.

Dyersburg returns to action Tuesday night when the Trojans host Milan. Tipoff for the girls game will be at 6:30 p.m. as the Trojans and Lady Trojans will celebrate Whiteout Night and Student Appreciation Night during this District 13AA doubleheader.
