On Tuesday, Valentine’s Day, at 10 a.m., the Dyersburg Mall hosted area adults with special needs.

The photo station was popular with those in attendance. Everyone was given a copy of his or her photo.

Over 70 special needs adults, their caretakers, and volunteers attended the Valentine-themed party, which included dancing and stations where individuals decorated Valentine boxes as well as cookies.

Everyone was given the opportunity to exchange Valentine cards and take pictures in a photo station with a Valentine backdrop. Some took photos with their sweetheart, some with their favorite caregiver, and others had their picture made with their best friends.

Individuals were given a copy of their photo.

“It was a great experience,” stated Brandi Stork of the Dyersburg Mall office.

Each month, the Dyersburg Mall hosts area adults with special needs for fun activities, games, and crafts. For additional information about the monthly events, help with donations, or to volunteer, contact the Dyersburg Mall office at 731-286-5426.
