Annie Marie Adams Walden, 90, of Dyersburg, passed away on Friday, June 30, 2017 at Dyersburg Healthcare and Rehabilitation.
She was born on June 17, 1927 in Greeneville, TN, to the late Marvin Adams and the late Lubie Morrow Adams. Marie was the retired owner of Marie's Word Processing and was also formerly employed with the Dyersburg City School System Central Office. She was a member, organist and Sunday School Teacher at Fowlkes Baptist Church. Marie was a DSCC graduate with an Associate of Science Degree.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday in the chapel of Dyersburg Funeral Home with the Rev. Danny O'Guin and the Rev. Don McCulley officiating. Burial will be in Dyer County Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive visitors from 5-8 p.m. Sunday at Dyersburg Funeral Home.
Survivors include her three daughters, Susan Williams and husband, Lynn, of Fowlkes, Sally Sawyers and husband, Terry, of Dyersburg and Sarah Sills of Fowlkes; a son, Danny Walden and wife, Susan of Dyersburg; two sisters, Ophelia Lowe of Paducah, KY and Elsie Fly of Hutchison, KS; a daughter-in-law, Bobbie Walden of Dyersburg; eleven grandsons; many great-grandchildren; and many great-great-grandchildren.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Edd Walden; a son, Chuck Walden; three sisters, Ruth Gibbs, Albernette Willis and Pearl Adams; and a brother, Paul Adams. Grandsons will serve as pallbearers.

Emily S. "Susie" Scarbrough Hendricks, 62, of Yorkville, Tennessee, died Friday at her residence. Funeral arrangements for Mrs. Hendricks will be announced by Johnson-Williams Funeral Home.
