Dyersburg State Community College will celebrate Constitution Day Monday, Sept. 18, at the Dyersburg campus. During this time, materials honoring the U.S. Constitution will be displayed in the Learning Resource Center and educational videos will be played on the internal digital signage throughout the day. Beginning at 7 p.m., the Student Government Association (SGA) will hold a swearing-in ceremony with a special tribute to Constitution Day. James Adair, associate professor of mathematics, will perform a social call dressed as William Jackson, secretary to the U.S. Constitutional Convention in 1787, followed by the administration of the oath of office for incoming SGA officers by Dyer County Mayor Chris Young.
