Transitions ‘12 Days of Christmas’ winners announced, over $11,500 raised

On Dec. 25, Transitions wrapped up its annual 12 Days of Christmas fundraising event, with local resident William Taylor announced as the final winner of a grand prize package including a LG 55” Smart LED television, courtesy of FirstCNB, Frazier Roofing, McDonald’s, Eaton, Security Bank, and Ermco.

Other winners announced during throughout the event include: Patti Greene, Joetta Yarbro, Nancy Craig, Jeff Agee, Joan Gilliland, Janis Algee, Johnnie McFarland, ‘Cornbread’, Robert Hubble, Jim Poe, and the Ya Ya Women, a group of ladies who have, for multiple years, donated their combined birthday money, into a pot to donate to charity at the end of the year.

Each ticket entitled participants to be included in each day of the drawing, with winners announced daily on Burks Broadcasting 101.7 FM/ WTRO 1450 AM Radio.

According to Development Director Linda Flowers, this year’s event successfully raised $11,798.

All donations raised through the 12 Days of Christmas event will now go towards the benefit of Transitions of Dyer County, a local ministry serving women suffering from life-controlling problems.
