DFD responds to downtown vehicle fire

Shortly before 1 p.m. Tuesday afternoon, the Dyersburg Fire Department responded to a vehicle fire at 112 N. Main Street. Four fire personnel members arrived on the scene and spent over 30 minutes extinguishing the blaze. According to DFD Chief Brett Sipes, the vehicle was not occupied upon arrival, and no one was injured. He added the cause of the fire remains under investigation.
