Cattle Receipts: 455 Last week: 758 Last year: 1083
Compared to the same sale last week, Slaughter cows 1.00 to 3.00 higher.
Bulls steady. Steers under 700 lbs 2.00 to 10.00 lower, over 700 lbs
steady. Heifers and bulls mostly steady. Quality fair to good. Demand
moderate to weak.
Feeders: 307 Slaughter: 53 Replacements: 95
Slaughter cows made up 11 percent of the offering, slaughter bulls 2
percent, replacement cows 30 percent, and feeders 57 percent. The feeder
supply included 51 percent steers, 37 percent heifers, and 12 percent
bulls. Near 15 percent of the run weighed over 600 lbs.
