Cattle Receipts: 748 Last week: 1695 Last year: 1080
Compared to the same sale last week, Slaughter cows steady to 2.00
higher. Bulls 2.00 higher. Steers under 550 lbs steady to 5.00 higher,
over 550 lbs steady. Heifers under 600 lbs 4.00 to 7.00 higher, over 600
lbs steady. Bulls under 600 lbs 2.00 to 6.00 higher, over 600 lbs steady.
Quality fair to fancy. Demand good.
Feeders: 701 Slaughter: 22 Replacements: 25
Slaughter cows made up 2 percent of the offering, slaughter bulls 1
percent, replacement cows 4 percent, and feeders 93 percent. The feeder
supply included 39 percent steers, 49 percent heifers, and 12 percent
bulls. Near 27 percent of the run weighed over 600 lbs.
