Cattle Receipts: 1070 Last week: 1595 Last year: 1007
Compared to the same sale last week, Slaughter cows 3.00 to 5.00 higher.
Bulls 5.00 higher. Steers and bulls steady to 5.00 higher. Heifers 3.00
to 8.00 higher. Quality fair to fancy. Demand good.
Feeders: 944 Slaughter: 63 Replacements: 63
Offerings included the following load lot:
89 heifers, 571 lbs, M&L 1-2, Black/BWF Red/RWF CHX, 5 flesh, $147.50
Slaughter cows made up 5 percent of the offering, slaughter bulls 2
percent, replacement cows 8 percent, and feeders 85 percent. The feeder
supply included 35 percent steers, 52 percent heifers, and 13 percent
bulls. Near 15 percent of the run weighed over 600 lbs.
