Cattle Receipts: 1472 Last week: 935 Last year: 1702
Compared to the same sale last week, Slaughter cows steady to 2.00
higher. Bulls steady. Steers and bulls mostly steady. Heifers steady.
Feeders: 1334 Slaughter: 76 Replacements: 62
Offerings included the following load lot:
67 heifers, 727 lbs, M&L 1-2, Black/BWF Red/RWF CHX, 5 flesh, $130.00
Slaughter cows made up 4 percent of the offering, slaughter bulls 1
percent, replacement cows 5 percent, and feeders 90 percent. The feeder
supply included 32 percent steers, 55 percent heifers, and 12 percent
bulls. Near 31 percent of the run weighed over 600 lbs.
