Dyer County Relay for Life event postponed

The Dyer County Relay for Life event, which was set to occur on May 1, has been postponed in light of the COIVD-19 pandemic. A new date for the event will be set in the near future.

Dyer County Relay for Life issued the following statement on their Facebook page:

“While heading into an important time in our Relay for Life event season, the American Cancer Society’s top priority remains the health and safety of volunteers, staff, and the cancer patients and their loved ones who rely on us. ACS has suspended events through mid-May to ensure the health and safety of all.

“We are so grateful for the dedication of our volunteers and participants and appreciate the sacrifices you make to support our Relay for Life events. Stay tuned here [Dyer County Relay for Life Facebook page] for more info about how you can continue to support our mission in your community.

“We are heavily encouraging all to register, either as an individual or a team, at www.relayforlife.org/dyertn and Facebook fundraise. Your event leadership team is working to set a new date, and we will provide further information as soon as it is available.”
