Dyer County Republican Party to welcome Sheriff Jeff Box as July speaker

The Dyer County Republican Party will welcome Sheriff Jeff Box as its July guest speaker.  Box is Sheriff of Dyer County and President of the Tennessee Sheriff's Association.  The meeting will be held on Tuesday, July 9, at 6:30 p.m. at the Lannom Center, located at 2000 Commerce Ave. Box will discuss law enforcement, community safety and the future of the Dyer County Sheriff’s Department.

  • I can’t think of a better person to represent the Republican Party. He did an excellent job with the Karen Swift investigation. Especially the search party over by the Mississippi River with the full force of all of West Tennessee law enforcement and TBI, because there was a lot of relevant evidence there, and the cell phone evidence definitely pinged there.
