The Dyersburg/Dyer County Chamber of Commerce is reporting that Dyersburg was not selected as a finalist for a large food-processing site looking to bring its 700-job operation to the area. According to Chamber President/CEO Allen Hester the state of Tennessee's Department of Economic and Community Develop-ment contacted the area's economic team in mid-April and asked it to submit information for the project, which was code-named Project Arthur.
