Compared to the same sale last week, Slaughter cows and bulls steady.
Steers and heifers steady to 5.00 lower. Bulls 4.00 to 10.00 lower.
Quality fair to good. Demand moderate to weak.
Feeders: 637 Slaughter: 74 Replacements: 47
Offerings included the following load lot:
65 steers, 793 lbs, M&L 1, Black/BWF Red/RWF CHX, 5 flesh, $133.00
Slaughter cows made up 7 percent of the offering, slaughter bulls 1
percent, replacement cows 8 percent, and feeders 83 percent. The feeder
supply included 38 percent steers, 39 percent heifers, and 23 percent
bulls. Near 35 percent of the run weighed over 600 lbs.
