Cattle Receipts: 1499 Last week: 1045 Last year: 1638
Compared to the same sale last week, Slaughter cows and bulls steady.
Steers and bulls under 650 lbs 4.00 to 10.00 higher, over 650 lbs steady.
Heifers steady to 5.00 higher. Quality fair to fancy. Demand strong.
Feeders: 1384 Slaughter: 78 Replacements: 37
Slaughter cows made up 3 percent of the offering, slaughter bulls 1
percent, replacement cows 3 percent, and feeders 93 percent. The feeder
supply included 47 percent steers, 46 percent heifers, and 7 percent
bulls. Near 57 percent of the run weighed over 600 lbs.
