Weighted Average Report for Tuesday Mar 12, 2019
Cattle Receipts: 378 Last week: 200 Last year: 681
Compared to the same sale two weeks ago, Slaughter cows 1.00 to 2.00
higher. Bulls steady. Steers and bulls mostly steady. Heifers steady to
4.00 higher. Quality fair to fancy. Demand good.
Feeders: 329 Slaughter: 29 Replacements: 20
Slaughter cows made up 7 percent of the offering, slaughter bulls 1
percent, replacement cows 6 percent, and feeders 86 percent. The feeder
supply included 44 percent steers, 50 percent heifers, and 6 percent
bulls. Near 36 percent of the run weighed over 600 lbs.
