Lady Choctaws sweep TCA, head to Jackson tournament Saturday

The Lady Choctaw volleyball wrapped up its schedule in state for the week on Thursday, traveling down to Jackson to hand Trinity Christian Academy a three-set loss on the Lady Lions homecourt.

Dyer County won the first set 25-14 before cruising to the second set win by a 25-9 score. The Lady Choctaws then wrapped up the match with a 25-14 win in the third and final set to clinch the three-set sweep.

Dyer County returns to action on Saturday when the orange and white travel to Jackson, Mo. for a round-robin tournament. Closer to home, the Lady Choctaws return to action on Monday when the orange and white continue their “Jackson” themed road trip when they head down Highway 412 to take on Jackson Christian School at 6 p.m.
