Richard Pike

Dyer County High School

Richard Pike is not only an asset to the students in his classroom, but to the students on the football field. He is caring, kind and compassionate and helps to make DCHS a better place every day. Pike said he loves “building relationships with my students and watching the progress they make throughout the years.”

Alise Canada

Dyersburg Intermediate School

Alise Canada is a third grade ELA teacher at Dyersburg Intermediate School. She’s in her fourth year of teaching and has a special relationship with her fellow teachers and students working on exciting and innovative teaching methods. Not only does she go above and beyond to learn for them, she is involved, representing her school, on the Superintendent’s Advisory Council. She’s able to express her ideas to the system as a whole, in turn, benefiting all staff and students at Dyersburg City Schools.
