DHS student Clare Bernheisel a National Merit Scholarship semi-finalist

Dyersburg High School senior Claire Bernheisel has been named a semi-finalist as a National Merit Scholar. Bernheisel scored in the top one percent nationwide of students who took the PSAT-NMSQT test. Bernheisel said, “I’m so glad I had the opportunity to take this exam.” Dyersburg High School Guidance Counselor noted that as a semi-finalist, Bernheisel is almost sure to be a finalist. She added that this is the eighth consecutive year a DHS student has earned the distinction. “That says something about what we do at DHS.” She credited and lauded Bernheisel’s hard work and intelligence.
