Angela Ray Lewis, 56, of Finley, died Tuesday, September 24, 2024, at Jackson Madison County General Hospital.
Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, September 28, 2024, in the Chapel of Curry Funeral Home with interment to follow in Fairview Cemetery.
The family will receive visitors Saturday beginning at 11 a.m. until service time at the funeral home.

Frances Rebekah Vernon Hopper
Frances Rebekah Vernon Hopper, 98, of Newbern, Tennessee, died on Tuesday, September 24, 2024, at her residence.
Born Wednesday, August 18, 1926, in Trenton, Tennessee, she was the daughter of the late Ernest R. Graves and the late Mary Ann Dawson Graves. Mrs. Hopper was a retired employee of Dyersburg Fabrics. Mrs. Hopper was known for her kind, caring, joyous personality and her devotion to her family.
Funeral services for Mrs. Hopper will be held on Friday, September 27, 2024, at 1 p.m. in the Chapel of Johnson-Williams Funeral Home. Officiating this service will be Mr. Philip Michael Hutcheson and Mr. Allen Edward "Trey" Vernon, III . Interment will follow in Fairview Cemetery in Dyersburg, Tennessee. Visitation for Mrs. Hopper will be held on Friday from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m at Johnson-Williams Funeral Home.
She leaves to cherish her memory, one daughter, Carol Riggs (Rickey Bo) of Newbern, Tennessee; one brother, Robert Franklin Graves of Jackson, Tennessee; three sisters, Mary Dorothy Hendrix of Louisville, Kentucky, Ernestine Muth of Louisville, Kentucky and Christine Bell (Eric) of Henderson, Tennessee; eight grandchildren, Pamela Carol Hutcheson, Amy Elizabeth Wooley (Mark), Philip Michael Hutcheson (Misty), Erin Alison Hollingsworth (Scott), Cindy Marie Calhoun (Andy), Ricky Derek Riggs (LaBreska), Amber Danielle Woody (Brad), and Allen Edward "Trey" Vernon, III (Heather); fifteen great grandchildren, and two great-great grandchildren with another to join the family in April, 2025.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Allen Edward Vernon, Sr.; two sons, Allen Edward Vernon, Jr. and Michael Wayne Vernon; one daughter, Elizabeth Ann Killough, two sisters, Sarah Jean King and Macree Laverne Twilla and one great-grandchild, Mary Elizabeth Hollingsworth.
Honoring Mrs. Hopper as pallbearers will be Scott Hollingsworth, Mark Wooley, Gregory Wooley, Derek Riggs, Andy Calhoun and Taylor Caughron.
