McIver's Grant Library check presentation

McIver's Grant Public Library received $100,000 toward its Capital Campaign for a new building on Friday, Feb. 3. Tennessee Secretary of State Tre Hargett presented library officials with a big check in the lobby of the present library, with State Senate Majority Leader Mark Norris, Minority Leader State Representative Craig Fitzhugh, State Representative Bill Sanderson and State Senator Lowe Finney also on hand for the celebration. Dyer County Mayor Richard Hill, Dyersburg Mayor John Holden and many representatives of the county and city governing bodies also attended the event.
