Sheriff's Dept. hosts benefit for Monica Permenter

A benefit supper and auction were hosted by the Dyer County Sheriff's Dept. for Monica Permenter at the Millsfield Fire Dept. on Friday, April 13. The event attracted hundreds of caring residents for a night of fun, food and laughter. A total of approximately $18,000 was raised for Monica Permenter and her family as she battles cancer. She is a teacher with the Dyer County School system and her husband Lt. Don Permenter is a supervisor with the sheriff's dept.
