Mayor's Prayer Breakfast

Dyer County residents kicked off the 2012 National Day of Prayer with the traditional Mayor's Prayer Breakfast in the Fellowship Hall of First Baptist Church. There, community and religious leaders led the community in prayer for the church, military and law enforcement, the family, education, the community and business. Local elected officials were also recognized, with Mike Hickman of First Baptist Church offering a pray for government leaders. The theme of the 2012 National Day of Prayer is "One Nation Under God" with the scripture reference, "Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord" - Psalm 33:12.
