City Schools honor eduators

Educators retiring from the Dyersburg City School System were recognized at the system's annual Teacher Appreciation Banquet on Tuesday, May 29.

Superintendent Neel Durbin calculated the system's retiring educators have served over 400 years -- that is over one-half million hours in the classroom -- collectively.

The event took place in the Professional Development Center.
