Main Street leaders from West Tennessee experienced camp-related fun - and more - in the Tennessee Main Street Program's Regional Summer Camp for West Tennessee. Dyersburg joined Morristown and Columbia as one of three sites across the Volunteer State to host the regional summer camp. Main Street officials representing five West Tennessee communities arrived in Dyersburg on Thursday, June 28. First Citizens National Bank hosted the beginning of the conference, with presentations and lunch in the Lipford Room on the third floor of the bank's downtown location. Leaders took a walking tour of the historic downtown district as part of Thursday's activities. During the tour, the group stepped into Pennington Seed and Supply for a talk with owner Mike Pennington. Inside, the artists found some unique details to sketch. The tour ended in the office of Joe Enoch and Associates, where walkers escaped the heat with a cool drink and shared their sketches.
