Newbern Babe Ruth Softball 2013 Closing Ceremonies

The Newbern Babe Ruth Softball League celebrated another successful season at its closing ceremonies on Saturday, June 15. The softball players in attendance were fed pizza and also received a trophy for participating in this year's season. Team corporate sponsors were recognized during the ceremonies and given a plaque with the team's picture on it to commemorate the 2013 Spring Season and to show the league's appreciation for their continued support. A pie-in-the-eye auction was also held to raise additional monies to help with the maintaining of the league.
