Multiple traffic charges against Trimble policeman Larry D. Warden were continued until Oct. 22 in Newbern city court Monday. Warden, 46, of the 100 block of Shibley St. in Newbern, was charged with driving under the influence of an intoxicant, violation of the state open alcoholic beverage container law, violation of the state implied consent law by refusing to take an intoximeter test, running two stop signs and evading arrest after he allegedly attempted to elude a Newbern policeman around 3 a.m. ...
