The Dyersburg Middle School Lady Trojans are one match away from qualifying for sectional play and a West Tennessee Athletic Conference championship round. DMS defeated Haywood County at Brighton on Thursday, 15-3, 15-4 to reach the semifinals. Dyersburg will likely play either Covington-Crestview or Lauderdale 7:15 Monday night. Often, when Dyer County's girls and Lexington's girls get together in a season finale, it hasn't turned out all that well for the Lady Choctaws. Until Thursday afternoon. The Lady Choctaws swept a pair of volleyball matches from visiting Lexington and finished up the regular season on a big roll.
