Doctor to serve two days in jails

The Dyersburg physician who was arrested while on call in July for driving while intoxicated and driving with a revoked license was fined $600 Monday and sentenced to serve two days in local jails. Ramakant Mulay, 53, who in June was arrested for driving while intoxicated after the car he was driving crashed into two parked cars on Thorntree Street, was given a 11 month, 29 day sentence that was suspended to 60 days. Mulay was credited with 58 days spent at an alcohol treatment program...
