Men charged with robbery of Tigrett store plead guilty

Two men accused of robbing a Tigrett store at gunpoint pleaded guilty Tuesday in Dyer County Circuit Court and were sentenced to eight-year prison sentences. John Connell, 19, of 92 Connell St., Tigrett, and Cedric Townsend, 20, of 113 Grant St., Tigrett, each pleaded guilty to a charge of aggravated burglary and was sentenced to serve eight years in prison by Judge Lee Moore.
