The University of Tennessee at Martin saw a decrease in enrollment for the 2002 fall semester while Dyersburg State Community College was up by over five percent for full-time students. The final figure for fall enrollment at UTM is 5,719 students, down 181 students from the university's fall 2001 enrollment of 5,900.
