State's roads ranks high in report

Tennessee ranks high among states with the smallest percentage of roads in poor condition, a Washington D.C. transportation study group notes in a new report. According to the Surface Transportation Policy Project's "State of the Nation's Roads" released Wednesday, Tennessee ranks 10th in states with percent of roads not in good condition, at 31.9 percent. The figure represents a turnaround from the 1994 number, when the state had 58.8 percent of roads in poor condition...
