Adult spelling bee goes 22 rounds in team format before editor wins

Maybe three heads aren't better than one - or maybe it was just the luck of the draw. For whatever reason the only single-member team in Monday night's Matthew 25:40 Help-A-Spell adult spelling bee took home the honey. After 22 rounds, the State Gazette team, consisting only of editor and co-publisher Chris Rimel, correctly spelled "guttural" and then "concierge" to win the annual event, contested for the first time this year by teams of from one to three members. ...
