Fire totals West Tennessee Communications building

A fire that started among boxes and files stored in the attic of the West Tennessee Communications building along the Highway 51 Bypass totaled the structure and left three businesses struggling to find new quarters. According to a spokesman for the Dyersburg Fire Department, the department was notified at approximately 8:25 p.m. Friday of the fire when a passerby saw smoke coming from the roof and alerted 911.
