It was proven again late Sunday night that alcohol and four wheelers are a recipe for tragedy when a 22-year-old woman was killed along State Route 211 on the Old Obion River Bridge near Trimble. A spokesman for the Tennessee Highway Patrol said Amy Elizabeth Eubanks, a 1998 graduate of Dyersburg High School, was killed when a four-wheeler driven by Jared Fowlkes, also of Dyersburg, struck part of a fallen tree along the closed route and spun out of control. ...

Called City Board meeting to vote on purchase of Hoff Road building

A Finance Committee meeting scheduled for 10 a.m. Wednesday has been changed to a special called meeting of the full Dyersburg City Board so aldermen can vote on a loan to purchase the old Dyersburg Fabrics Building along Hoff Road.
