Basin authority to focus on projects in supporting counties

The West Tennessee River Basin Authority has adopted a policy that could severely limit or end river maintenance work in counties that don't financially support the agency. The basin authority board of directors established a "Debris Removal Prioritization Matrix" on July 8 and immediately put it into effect.
