The new International Building Code the State of Tennessee hopes to adopt this year is about 3,000 pages long, but 40 of those pages have West Tennessee mayors and building-code officials in an uproar because they could cost thousands of jobs. Newbern's water-quality problems impact four schools

Students will be returning to classes in Dyer County Schools on Wednesday but in four of the facilities all of the fresh-water fountains will be disconnected and warnings posted for students not to drink water from spigots. Public housing community service requirement enforcement nightmare: DHA head
