Over 200 items will be up for bid Saturday in a benefit auction for Chad Murray. The absolute auction will be held at 10 a.m. at the Happy House, located on Highway 77 in Newbern near Sonic. 'Wings of Freedom' donates $6,000 to St. Jude

Thirty chapters of the Gold Wing Road Riders Association participated in a 500-mile "Wings Across Tennessee" charity ride Sept. 27. The ride started at Bristol and ended in Memphis at St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. Riders stopped at designated locations along the way, with more riders joining at each stop.
