Hospital to support Medicare reform bill, equity for rural hospitals

Store gets hit by unknown vehicle

An unidentified vehicle apparently smashed into Cybersoundz, located on Forrest Street, early Sunday morning, causing damage to the building and alarming police, before fleeing from the scene. After being dispatched to the car audio shop at about 2:15 a.m. to an alarm sounding, Dyersburg Police Officer Christopher Pursell found the store to be secure. Contractor's refusal to finish dam job frustrates state; company has had two years to plant grass

A Jackson contractor hired to build a dam in Dyer County three years ago still hasn't completed the job. Bubba Johnson Contracting won a contract in the fall of 2000 to build the Lake Nauvoo dam for the West Tennessee River Basin Authority.
