Man accused of sexual battery on children sentenced to eight years in prison

A Finley man was sentenced Tuesday in circuit court to serve nine years in prison after pleading guilty to three charges of attempted aggravated sexual battery on young relatives. Jeremy Todd Bishop, 27, of 60 Palm St., was originally charged with three counts of aggravated sexual battery on three second-cousins during December 2001. The charges stemmed from three separate incidents involving females then 12, 11 and 9 years of age...
