Second motor vehicle habitual offender conviction brings 18-month prison sentence

A Dyersburg man who pleaded guilty Tuesday in circuit court to a second violation of the Motor Vehicle Habitual Offender Act was sentenced to serve 18 months in prison. Jamie Lynn Bluew, 33, of 144 Maplewood Cove, also agreed to revocation of probation from his previous MVHO conviction and will serve the full 18 months of that sentence, giving him a total effective sentence of three years in prison...
