Out-of-state firm wins bid for Tennessee Blue Book

Von Hoffman Corp. of St. Louis was awarded the bid on March 8 with a price of $177,500 for 50,000 copies. City settles employees' civil rights lawsuit

The City of Dyersburg has settled a federal civil rights lawsuit by eight water and sewer department employees for a total of $35,000 without admitting guilt, the city's attorney said Wednesday. "That lawsuit has been settled on the basis on the city's payout of $35,000 total to all eight of the defendants and their lawyer," John Lannom said.
