Commission retains property tax rate, defeats wheel tax increase

Dyer County's commission voted Monday night to keep property and wheel taxes at current levels. The property tax rate of $2.58 per $100 of assessed value in support of county budgets and the wheel tax will remain at $40.15 per vehicle.
