Santa was on hand for the Breakfast with Santa event on Saturday morning in Trimble, taking "orders" for Christmas Eve presents. He checks a list twice that was provided by 6-year-old Abigail Yuhas who goes to Dyersburg Primary School. Breakfast with Santa is considered one of the most popular annual civic events sponsored by the Trimble Area Women's Civic Club. About 200 people were served. Man pleads guilty to assault charges

In Dyersburg City Court on Tuesday, George Lopez pleaded guilty to a simple assault charge, a domestic assault charge, and a criminal contempt of court charge.
