Dyer County at 68 percent of its United Way goal and climbing

Dyer County is moving in the right direction to reach its 2004-05 United Way goal. Local companies report having raised a total of $306,030, and reports continue to come in daily. Bekaert employees are proud of the increase in their effort. This year, Bekaert's pledge increased 15 percent to $18,339. Ten percent more of the facility's employees participated in the effort, and the average gift is $143.30...

Applebee's to reopen in Dyersburg in March

Residents of Dyer County can expect to dine again at Applebee's Neighborhood Grill & Bar the first Monday in March this year.
