Nine young ladies from Dyersburg and Dyer County High Schools have answered the call to "Be Your Best Self." The contestants in the 2005 Dyer County Junior Miss Scholarship Program met on Feb. 19 for a Mother/Daughter Tea. Hosted by the Dyersburg Cotillion Club, the afternoon provided the contestants and their mothers the opportunity to meet with Stan Avis, choreographer of the program's fitness routine, Aaron Jowers, sound engineer for the event, and Jeff Tabor, photographer for the event; watch an informational video on the America's Junior Miss organization; and learn about the local program rules and regulations.. ...
