Meter reader attacked with bat

Police arrested a Dyersburg woman after she threw an aluminum baseball bat at a Dyersburg Electric System meter reader who had come to the house to cut off the electricity. The woman, Geneva Lanier, was charged with reckless endangerment, a Class E felony, for her actions. Lanier also had an outstanding warrant for her arrest for non-payment of child support...
